Philip and Julie My husband and I decided that we wanted a wedding with minimum fuss.  We met with Katie and explained our ideas and what we wanted the photo’s to reflect. She suggested that ‘reportage’ might suit our needs best.  When we saw the proofs of the photographs we were amazed by how may shots she had taken without our realising!  For me the benefits were completely natural/looking shots – people laughing and enjoying themselves and not one grimace in sight!  On the plus side the mums were able to request a few ‘posed’ photos and Katie happily obliged.  The service she provided was friendly and personal and of a high quality.

Sarah and Peter Katie had a friendly, relaxing demeanour, making us both feel at ease with ourselves and evaporating any wedding nerves that were lingering. Katie had plenty of choices and ideas as to how we could have our photographs, but at the same time gave time to listen to any ideas or requests we had to help capture the wedding. By the time we got back from our honeymoon there on the doorstep was a disk of prints asking us to choose which ones we wanted. I couldn't believe that she had taken as many as she did and found it very difficult to choose a selection as they were all perfect and showed what a wonderful day we had. We couldn't be happier.

Jackie and Gordon Our wedding was a bit out of the ordinary being a pagan ceremony at the standing stones on Machrie Moor, Isle of Arran. Katie’s photographs not only capture the event, but the whole atmosphere of the place and the ceremony, which is wonderful as only a handful of friends and family could actually be there in person. Nikki and Nir The main thing I liked about your work was your ability to blend into the wedding, at no moment did I feel that you were intruding on the privacy of the day. This is reflected in the natural images that you produced, far way from the fake photo's of the average wedding album.
